Link Centre is a UK-focused business directory offering free submissions alongside yearly paid plans costing up to approximately $260. Although it has an impressive domain rating of 73, our supposedly active listing could not be found anywhere on the public website.
The free plan allows a business to submit a basic website listing at no charge. Link Centre then sells several annual upgrades offering additional profile, promotional and monitoring features.
Depending on the plan, advertised features include:
Some of these features have limited relevance to the fundamental purpose of a directory submission. Website downtime alerts, for example, do not materially improve the value of the listing or its backlink.
The more serious problem is that our free listing could not be found publicly despite being marked as active.
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| Website URL | The website intended to receive the listing and backlink |
| Title | The business or website name |
| Description | A summary of the submitted website |
| Category | The relevant directory classification |
| Country | The country associated with the business |
The form requires relatively little information and takes only a few minutes to complete. However, even that small amount of effort is wasted if the resulting listing is not publicly accessible.
Truly Analytics was submitted to Link Centre on 2 August 2026 using the free plan.
The account back office describes the listing as active and retains all the information supplied during submission. However, it does not provide a working link to a public profile page.
Instead, the account links to a category listing. Following that link leads back to an administrative view where the submitted data can be seen, rather than to a publicly accessible business page.
We attempted to locate the listing through:
None of these routes produced a public Truly Analytics listing.
No corresponding page had been detected through Google or Brave when checked. Since no public listing could be found, there was also no verified backlink for either search engine to crawl or index.
First Party Attribution recorded no traffic from linkcentre.com:

No measurable referral traffic reached Truly Analytics from Link Centre during the reviewed period.
Link Centre had a domain rating of 73 when checked. That would make a genuine, indexed backlink potentially attractive, but the authority of the domain is irrelevant when the submitted listing doesn’t seem to exist.
| Plan | Approximate cost | Supplied details |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 per year | Basic website submission |
| Entry paid plan | $95 per year | Faster review, news posting, profile customization and branding features |
| Pro | $157 per year | Multiple website submissions, downtime email alerts and additional features |
| Premium | $260 per year | One premium listing, guaranteed page-one directory placement and further promotional benefits |
These are recurring annual charges rather than one-time listing fees. A business must therefore continue paying to retain the plan’s upgraded features.
The paid plans emphasize advertising, presentation and subscription features, but as our free listing doesn’t seem to exist what’s the point?
Not recommended.
Link Centre initially looks promising because it has a domain rating of 73 and offers a free submission route. For a UK-focused business directory, that combination could make it a useful backlink opportunity.
Didn’t happen.
The Truly Analytics listing appears inside the account back office and is labelled active, but cannot be located on the public website. There is no direct profile link, searching by listing number produces nothing, and browsing the nominated category does not reveal the submission.
So it doesn’t seem to work and there’s no reason to believe anything that the site claims.
Truly Analytics recorded no events from linkcentre.com and no listing had been detected through Google or Brave. More importantly, we could not verify that a public page existed for either search engine to index so indexing will likely never happen.
The paid plans are difficult to justify. Approximately $95 to $260 every year is expensive for a conventional directory placement, particularly when the free submission process provides no evidence that Link Centre can deliver a functioning service.
Several paid benefits also appear designed to add perceived subscription value rather than improve meaningful results. Downtime alerts, customizable profiles and news posting do not compensate for the absence of a discoverable page, an indexed backlink or genuine referral traffic.
Do not pay for an upgrade and do not spend time chasing the free submission. Everything here seems off.
Truly Analytics established that Link Centre’s supposedly active submission produced no discoverable public listing or measurable referral activity.
First Party Attribution distinguishes between a directory claiming that a listing is active and that listing delivering genuine exposure. In this case, there was no verified public page, backlink, indexing or attributed traffic.
Truly Analytics helps organisations understand who is visiting their website, what their real traffic looks like, where it came from, and which marketing and sales activity delivers genuine value.
