TinyLaunch is an indie-focused Product Hunt alternative offering scheduled product launches, community voting and paid promotional placements. Truly Analytics joined its free queue on 1 August 2026 and is scheduled to launch on 21 September 2026.

What’s included?

TinyLaunch combines a product directory with a community-driven launch platform. Products receive a scheduled launch page where signed-in users can vote and comment.

A free launch includes:

  • A dedicated startup page
  • Placement within the launch feed
  • Homepage exposure across multiple days
  • Community voting and comments
  • Ranking against other launches
  • A link to the product website
  • UTM parameters identifying TinyLaunch traffic
  • Inclusion in the weekly launch archive
  • A maker profile connected to the product

Unlike many generic directories, TinyLaunch appears to have genuine human interaction. Users can create profiles, vote for products and participate in launch discussions.

The free queue is its primary limitation. TinyLaunch warns that publication can take more than 40 days, making it unsuitable for businesses requiring immediate exposure.

What do you need to supply?

TinyLaunch separates information about the maker from information about the startup.

Requirement Details
First and last name Identifies the person responsible for the launch
Handle Used for the public maker profile
X/Twitter profile Connects the maker’s social account
Startup name The product name displayed on the launch
Tagline A concise description of the startup
Logo The primary product branding
Additional images Screenshots or promotional product imagery
Product details Information used to construct the startup page
Website URL The destination linked from the launch

The product is then placed into the launch queue. Its page can be accessed before launch, allowing people to prepare for the scheduled publication, although voting does not open until the launch begins.

Signed-in users can comment on the launch, helping TinyLaunch function more like a product community than a static backlink directory.

Results

Truly Analytics was submitted to TinyLaunch on 1 August 2026 using the free launch option.

Its launch is scheduled for 21 September 2026, approximately 51 days after submission. This is consistent with TinyLaunch’s warning that the free queue may take more than 40 days.

The public launch has not yet occurred, so its performance cannot currently be evaluated.

At this stage:

  • Truly Analytics has not appeared in the active launch rankings
  • Launch voting has not opened
  • Homepage exposure has not begun
  • The eventual backlink has not been verified
  • No TinyLaunch listing has been detected in Google or Brave
  • No measurable referral traffic has been generated

First Party Attribution recorded no traffic from tinylaunch.com:

These results are provisional. TinyLaunch cannot reasonably generate launch traffic before the scheduled publication date.

Once the launch goes live, its UTM-tagged link should make the resulting traffic straightforward to identify. Truly Analytics will be able to measure whether visitors arrive from the launch and whether they engage with the product or start a trial.

TinyLaunch had a domain rating of 72 when checked. An indexed backlink from a domain with that rating could be useful, although neither publication nor homepage placement guarantees that Google or another search engine will index the individual product page.

How the launch works

When the scheduled date arrives, the TinyLaunch page becomes part of the active launch feed.

Users can then:

  • Visit the product page
  • Follow the link to the product website
  • Vote for the launch
  • Leave comments
  • Compare it with other products
  • Influence its position within the daily rankings

Products receiving more votes can obtain greater visibility within the launch feed. A successful launch may therefore remain prominent for longer than one receiving little community engagement.

Free products can reportedly appear on the homepage for several days. After the active launch period, they remain available through TinyLaunch’s weekly archive.

The archive gives the page a longer useful life than platforms where products disappear immediately after launch day. It may also provide search engines with an additional route through which to discover the listing.

However, neither the backlink nor the archived page is guaranteed to be indexed. Domain rating indicates the strength of the overall domain, not whether every individual product page will receive meaningful search visibility.

Paid vs Free

Option Cost Supplied details
Free Launch $0 Scheduled launch after the queue, product page, voting, rankings and homepage exposure
Premium Launch $39 one-off Queue skipped and launch showcased around third or fourth position
Mid-feed placement $15 per week Ongoing placement around third or fourth position
Featured placement $30 per week Persistent top-page promotional position
Directory submission service $279 one-off Submission to 110 directories

The $39 Premium Launch allows a product to avoid the free queue and receive a stronger initial position within the feed. Being shown around third or fourth place should produce more visibility than relying entirely on organic voting.

It does not guarantee that the resulting backlink will be indexed or that the launch will generate customers. It guarantees placement, not commercial results.

The weekly advertising options provide continued visibility:

  • The $15 mid-feed placement positions the product around third or fourth place.
  • The $30 featured placement keeps it near the top of the page.

These placements may be useful if TinyLaunch demonstrates that its audience sends relevant visitors. Paying every week without first measuring the free launch would be difficult to justify.

The owners also offer a $279 service covering submissions to 110 directories, including several larger platforms. This is separate from the TinyLaunch listing itself.

We have not tested the submission package. Its value would depend on:

  • Which directories are included
  • Whether submissions are accepted
  • Whether the resulting pages are publicly accessible
  • Whether backlinks are dofollow
  • Whether search engines index the pages
  • Whether any of the directories generate relevant traffic

The number of submissions alone is not a useful measure of value.

Final verdict

Worth using for the free launch and potentially worth testing at $39 - not expensive, not cheap

TinyLaunch is one of the more convincing launch platforms reviewed in this series. Its website is clean, focused and does not appear to be filled with automated or obviously fabricated product entries.

There are signs of actual human activity. Users have maker profiles, vote on launches and can leave comments. Products compete for rankings rather than merely being placed into an enormous static catalogue.

The free option is legitimate, but it requires patience. Truly Analytics will wait approximately 51 days between submission and launch. That is too long for a time-sensitive campaign, although it remains considerably better than directories assigning dates six or seven months into the future.

Unlike several competing platforms, TinyLaunch clearly communicates that its free queue can exceed 40 days. The scheduled 21 September launch is therefore broadly consistent with the service being offered.

The DR 72 domain makes the resulting backlink potentially valuable. However, that figure should not be mistaken for guaranteed indexation. The relevant link must still be published, crawled and individually accepted into a search engine’s index.

TinyLaunch adds appropriate UTM parameters to its outgoing links, allowing Truly Analytics to identify visits generated by the listing and distinguish them from other referral sources.

Its weekly archive may also give the launch a longer useful life. Instead of disappearing after its active period, the product should remain discoverable among previous launches.

The $39 Premium Launch could be worthwhile for a genuine product release where timing matters. Skipping the queue and receiving a prominent third- or fourth-place position is a reasonable offer, but it should still be treated as an experiment rather than a guaranteed acquisition channel.

TinyLaunch is worth submitting to for free. It offers a credible product page, a visible launch process and genuine community features without requiring payment or a reciprocal backlink.

Paying $39 may also be reasonable when immediate publication matters or you definitely need the high DR backlink.

Truly Analytics

Truly Analytics established that the scheduled TinyLaunch submission produced no measurable referral activity before its 21 September 2026 launch date.

First Party Attribution will identify traffic from TinyLaunch’s UTM-tagged link once the product goes live.

This will show whether the launch creates genuine product discovery, rather than merely adding another directory page and backlink.

Truly Analytics helps organisations understand who is visiting their website, what their real traffic looks like, where it came from, and which marketing and sales activity delivers genuine value.
